BREAK CHARTS ONLY

Personalized Green Break Cards

Less Guesswork. A Clearer Starting Line.

Personalized green-reading charts, instructions, and grass guides. Choose the $49 System if you also want the mental performance cards and post-round journal.

Start Line Golf break cards use calculations based on putting distance, green slope and green speed to provide a reference for estimating break.

  • Six green-speed charts covering Stimp 8 through 13
  • References for uphill and downhill putts
  • Use the same break numbers for left-to-right and right-to-left putts
  • A double-sided instruction card
  • Your name printed on the cards
  • Print-ready cards sized 4 x 6.5 inches

Use the cards to estimate how many inches to aim to the uphill side of the hole, measured from the centre.

The charts provide a reference based on your distance, slope, and green-speed readings. Your interpretation of slope, intended putting pace, and ability to start the ball on your chosen line influence the outcome.

Download and print your cards at home. Each card is 4 x 6.5 inches. The cards fit inside a yardage-book holder with room for 4 x 6.5-inch cards. You receive digital files, not printed cards or a holder.

What you get
  • 6 personalized break cards: Stimp 8 through 13, showing break in inches for putts from 2 to 46 feet and slopes from 0.5% to 3%.
  • How-to-use guide: Learn to find your number and choose where to aim.
  • Putting routine: Simple steps to follow before and after each putt.
  • Grass-type guides: Information on Poa Annua, Bent Grass, Paspalum, Fescue, and Bermuda varieties.
  • Grain-reading guides: Learn how the direction grass grows affects putts on Bermuda greens.
  • Practice notes: Write down what you notice about grass, speed, and break.

The break numbers stay the same for every grass type. The grass guides explain grain, the direction the grass grows.
